About Me
I'm a visual communication designer who spent 9 years as a hairstylist before making the leap into design. That background taught me something invaluable: how to listen to what people need and translate it into creative solutions that work. It's the same skill set I bring to design—just applied differently.
I graduated from SF State in 2024 with a B.S. in Visual Communication Design, focusing on brand systems, UI/UX design, and visual storytelling. My work centers on developing brand guidelines, design toolkits, and assets that maintain consistency across touchpoints—whether that's social media, advertising, digital interfaces, or physical installations.
Recently, I was selected as a top 20 finalist out of 500+ submissions in BRIDGEGOOD's Inspire Oakland design challenge, where I developed a comprehensive brand system celebrating Oakland's diversity and resilience.
I've also developed projects like NAVI, a mobile app I created as my capstone project, backed by primary research with 41 survey participants and usability testing with 9 users.
What excites me most is finding that intersection between creative expression and practical problem-solving. I'm drawn to work where strong visual identity meets real user needs—building brands that resonate or designing interfaces that actually serve their purpose.
I approach every project with a collaborative spirit, attention to detail, and a focus on the people who'll interact with the work. If you're looking for a designer who listens well and executes with care, I'd love to connect.
I'm happiest when I'm outside—whether that's hitting the trails with my dogs on weekends, getting my hands dirty in the garden, or finding any excuse to spend a day at the beach.
